schools almost OUT! summer is almost IN!
this summer I'm feeling pretty exotic. I really want to try new things and think "did that" instead of "shoulda coulda woulda". I want my new motto to be YOLO. I mean this motto really does come in handy. I love the newest article in 17 magazine labelled "#YOLO" because there is some really amazing stories of girls JUST LIKE ME getting involved in some crazy and amazing things.

so now that I've motivated you to do something crazy this summer, why not do a little something crazy right now? Go to the fridge and eat healthy, go for a crazy run, or go jump in your freezing cold pool! #crazy.

Photography tips **IMPORTANT**
Hey Haterz!
Its me again, blogging for the second time in a life time! So today I wanna talk to you about photography. How do I get 40+ likes on my profile pictures on facebook? I'm artsy, I take quality time into shooting them, and I follow my intuition on what to do. Ideas just come to me! Now, if your that girl that takes the camera phone awkward angle photos its time you take a look at these three easy tips below!
3. ASK FOR ASSISTANCE
This last tip is pretty easy. Ask your bf, bff, or even your mom or dad to take your picture. Wanna insure they take the pic at a good angle? Set up the camera or phone in the exact place u want it and even use them as a model to get a good angle then switch places. Ask them to take a couple in that exact same spot, then switch it up at a diffrent angle. Don't be afraid to pose for the camera while others are taking the shot, just don't go totally skanky on you helpless dad who's holding the camera. and BTW skanky=trashy, and trashy=wrong.

1. USE NATURAL LIGHTINGOkay guys this first tip is like a no brainer. Don't take camerphone selfies in like the middle of night. Awful lighting, grainy pixels take over in the dark, and uhm hello we can't see your beautiful face! Okay so if you dont actually have a camera take your selfie in the middle of the day on a weekend (peak lighting time). Do your hair all nice, put some makeup on, point your cameraphone on a downward angle (this makes your eyes look amazing if you have mascara on your bottom lashes too!). If you do have a camera, put a trendy outfit on (check out my fashion trends **must read** post for some tips on what type of outfit), and set it on timer to take some sick full body shots. Get creative!! Guys love creative girls and girls will feel more compelled to like your picture if its artsy and cool. The natural light though is like the number one must have to get an awesome photo.
2. DON'T OVER EDIT YOUR PHOTOS
this is CRUCIAL. Even though picnik has closed, picmonkey still gives you the option to write all over your photos and paste corny stickers all over them. one word: NO. Writing all over your photos is a huge no no! It makes your photos look cheap and childish. So don't ever do it. Use classy effects like cross process (fade it to your desired amount), black & white (also fade it to your desired amount), cool textures like weave and sky only if you fade them to make them look real and depth filled, and mascara + eyebright are always good effects to use, but do not go over the top!!!!! I also love advanced settings like curves, burning, and dodging. I also like the "tired and true" effects, but don't use all on your photo, talk about a total mess!!! As we all know the weather is changing (my hair is getting frizzier by the minute!) and as the weather changes so do our fashion trends. Here's a few pieces you need to consider splurging on in order to even consider the fact of surviving summer.
1. Birkenstocks
Okay everyone, hold your horses! I know as soon as you saw these you gagged. So they may not be the totally hottest shoes,but they are so so so so SO functional! I wear mine EVERYWHERE (well, almost everywhere.) They are great for the beach (Birks actually stay on your feet, unlike heels, and you can actually dance in them!), amazing for the mall (they won't murder your feet after 10 hours or more of shopping!), and versatile for so many other activities! They come in like 1000000000 colours (okay not actually that many, but I think you get my point.).

2. Expensive Bathing suit that flatters YOUR body.
Okay so when I say expensive I don't really mean money wise, I mean quality wise. Don't buy a bathing suit that is super cheap, but wont even last one swim in the Atlantic. Also, notices how I put YOUR BODY in capitals. Don't buy a skimpy little bikini if your a big girl living in a skinny world. Don't buy a full piece wetsuit if you've worked hard on a good, muscular, and slim body. Show it off girl! Below I've made my very own body bathing suit code equations (who doesn't love fashion math?!) and listed great places to get the bathing suit for your body.
Curvy (full middle + smaller hips)= high wasted bottoms with cute stripes! They should go above your belly button to create and AH-mazing hour glass shape.

medium skin tone: try Jergens natural Glow & protect for $9 in most drugstores. This has SPF 20 and is loaded with moisture as well as a natural remedy that creates colour that looks real!
olive skin tone: XEN-TAN is the way to go! it has instant bronzing and moisturising ingredients! for a little bit of money ($26) this bottle sent from above could be yours.
golden skin tone: okay if you have a golden skin tone I am totally jealous of you right now, but you should try Beach sexy its a tinted self tan body spray that plays up your already sunny colour ($12, victoria secret stores)
Bronze skin tone: you barely need any bronzer so try Loreal paris sublime bronze. It creats a splash of sun with no Paraben! You have AH-mazing medium natural tanned skin already so this is great for you. ($11 drug stores)
dark skin: If you are like black I am totally jellen on you because I WANT YOUR SKIN. try hard candy GLOW all the way. The deep flecks of bronze give your amazing skin sheen that you can control! its an instant bronzer\2

fair skin: okay so I'm a fair skin girl, and this Supergoop! spf 20 gradual self tanning sunscreen mouse is for us albinos. it wont make our skin look fake like and will hydrate us all summer long!

4. High heels
Okay wedges are a total MUST HAVE. They are like the most upcoming yet classic trend of the summer. With a little practice you will be strutting your stuff in no time!
5. Flowery sundress
okay so last summer rompers were totally taking over, but this summer I have a feeling sundresses will have total world domination! Pair a cute sundress with a leather jacket or jean jacket, birks, and a cute clutch and your all set for that huge beach party going on a couple blocks away.
Okay so now that you've read my first fashion blog its time to get off the computer and exercise or go out and actually shop for some of the things above!! As for me, I'm spending the rest of the day on couch. (BEING SICK SUCKS!) Comment, please tell me whatcha think!
